Here’s just a quickie.
David Whitley comes to Frisco.
Craziness ensues.
Start Friday, even before dinner. We started wrecking stuff…you know in a good way.
David slays a Dallas Area phone book. 2040 pages.
I bend my first 60D nail.
Dustin (Rippetoe) and Ryan show up, more bending and ripping occur.
Steak Dinner. Thanks again Dustin, huge thanks. If you don’t know Dustin Rippetoe, you should. Go to wayofstrength.com
Back to house…more bending.
Call it a night.
Day of the workshop. We arrive at our facility around 8:30AM. Do a few minor things. In walks Jason Marshall, another person you better get familiar with, especially if you live in West Texas. Go to www.lonestarkettlebell.com
So David delivers a great Workshop. All had a good time, and of course at the end…more craziness.
After the workshop, 8 of us head back for the burgers and brats, and some great conversation.
Thanks all who came, we will for sure do it again.
Here area few pics, more to come later.
Later, chattin’ on our patio.
Good times. It’s one of those weekend you hate to see end.
Thanks to David, Mandy, Dustin, Ryan, Jason and Kevin.
And, sorry Kevin, I still don’t think the powdered cheese counts….

Thanks for the great weekend, workshop was awesome and the food was great. After the Great Cheese Debate of 2008, I had to do some research. The powder cheese includes milk protein, milkfat, cheese cultures (used in making real cheese). So I’m going to qualify it as cheese.

Good Enough, Kevin. I can’t argue now.

Ditto what Kevin said….about the workshop. I just like to hear him talk about food. It’s one of entertainment escapes! You guys did a great job of organizing and getting things together. The cookout was awesome too! Worth every penny and every mile!

Thanks Jason, it was great to see you again. Too bad TX is so big, I’d love to hang out with you more often. Dustin, too.

I’m still pumped from the workshop. It was really great to meet you and Kori. Dusty and I are now addicted to breaking stuff thanks to you and David. You guys have a great gym and I can’t wait to come back down sometime.

Thanks Ryan, you are welcome anytime. You are going to view hardware stores in a whole new light. Every time you walk by a bin of nails you’ll wonder if you can bend them.

Congrats on the 60D. I’m working on it. I’m glad you’re bailing on this, I hate wordpress.
